Hello!
My name is Stephanie Stephan and I write fiction that is weird, whimsical, and darkly delicious.
In 2017 I received an M.A. in English from Arcadia University. Afterwards I worked as an editor and literary coach, providing creative guidance and critical feedback to both new and experienced writers. Currently, I’m writing full time and working as an editor for Tabula Rasa Review.
My writing takes influence from fairytales, gothic fiction, and midcentury science fiction. I love blending elements of these genres together into something unexpected.
You can find my stories in Myth & Lore Zine, Patchwork Lit Mag, Tabula Rasa Review, and more. In 2021 my story about galactic lollipops was nominated for Best of the Net.
When I’m not writing, you can find me reading tarot, cross stitching, or in the kitchen trying out new recipes. But my favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband. He is my heart’s delight!
